Begin with the place that needs light
A village road, footpath, junction and public courtyard need different lighting layouts. Describe the area, pole positions, obstructions, activities and operating hours before comparing equipment. LED watts alone do not establish illumination on the ground. A proposal should identify the intended lighting duty, optics and arrangement rather than infer coverage from a promotional night photograph. Public procurement should follow the actual tender and applicable requirements; a product page is a starting point for the brief.
Semi-integrated uses an external panel
In HELLOCON’s confirmed semi-integrated range, the monocrystalline panel is outside the luminaire and the 12.8 V LiFePO₄ battery is inside the light. The published range provides 20, 30, 36, 40, 50 and 60 W LED options with corresponding battery and PV ratings. See the per-light model table rather than assuming one panel and battery suit every wattage. Solar orientation, shade and maintenance access still need to be considered at the site.
All-in-one needs its own model schedule
An all-in-one architecture brings solar collection and the light’s other components into a more integrated enclosure. Do not apply the semi-integrated table to an all-in-one product. Request its actual model, panel, battery, controller, enclosure and mounting information. Compare physical fit, solar exposure and access to serviceable parts. A generic illustration does not establish the supplied model’s internal construction, autonomy or test performance.
Read operation and backup as a complete schedule
Ask for the nightly operating profile, dimming programme, battery duty and charging assumptions. Two nights of managed output are different from two nights at full rated brightness. The current HELLOCON range uses MPPT charging and automatic dusk-to-dawn switching without a remote. Discuss the performance basis in the quotation and supporting documents. A night photograph demonstrates an illuminated scene, but it does not measure fixture output or prove a particular backup duration.
Choose pole layouts with the complete load
Multi-light layouts have mechanical and electrical implications. HELLOCON’s mini-mast options and high-mast options show two-to-six-light arrangements. The battery and panel schedule applies per light; a shared energy system needs separate design. Pole sections, brackets, anchors, foundations and wind exposure must be assessed for the whole arrangement. Combined LED load is not a guarantee of the area illuminated.
Request the procurement and handover documents
Keep the chosen model schedule, applicable test reports, product-specific credentials, installation scope and warranty terms with the order. The confirmed semi-integrated lighting range has a five-year warranty subject to quoted component coverage, exclusions and claim procedure; do not extend that statement automatically to every mast, foundation or installation contract. Confirm maintenance access and replacement responsibilities. Explore the original lighting installation photographs and product supply page, then prepare a location-specific quotation request.
This guide explains general system principles. Final technical suitability and scheme eligibility require project-specific review.
