THE SOLUTION

System design: Solar street lighting

HELLOCON manufactures and supplies All-in-Two (semi-integrated) solar street lights for roads, campuses and community spaces in Odisha. An external solar module charges the LiFePO₄ battery inside the rear luminaire compartment; the controller manages charging and the LEDs illuminate after dusk. Configuration follows the site lighting brief, required operating hours, shading and structural design. Request the model-specific datasheet, test documents and warranty terms with your quotation.

  • Operate independently of the electrical grid
  • Use solar generation with stored energy at night
  • Coordinate lighting and structure as one system

Planning solar street lighting in Odisha

All-in-Two (semi-integrated): one defined layout

HELLOCON’s All-in-Two (semi-integrated) solar LED street lights use an external panel and a luminaire containing the battery and controller. In this arrangement the photovoltaic module is external, while the LiFePO₄ battery and charge controller sit in the rear luminaire compartment. LEDs occupy the front underside. Ask for the selected model’s datasheet instead of assuming all housings have identical ratings. The manufacturing and product page connects lighting equipment with the project’s procurement brief.

Lighting design for Odisha roads and public spaces

A lighting requirement needs the road or pathway geometry, required illumination, operating profile, shading and maintenance arrangements. Module, battery and luminaire selection should work together through the intended nightly duty. Pole and foundation design must suit the site and exposure. For larger spaces compare solar high mast and mini mast configurations. A wattage figure alone does not establish useful light distribution or overnight autonomy.

Procurement and warranty documentation

For a panchayat, institution or other public project, confirm tender specifications and required documents for the actual model and named supplier. If buying through GeM (opens in a new tab), use the applicable official procurement process. Record luminaire, battery, module and workmanship warranties separately. Ask for the operating profile, service access and replacement arrangements with the quotation.

SEMI-INTEGRATED SOLAR LIGHTING

Compare our street-light range

Choose from six LED power options with an external monocrystalline solar panel and a 12.8 V LiFePO₄ battery inside the luminaire.

Ratings per luminaire (one light), not per pole: LED power, battery and solar module
LED powerBattery at 12.8 VMono panel
20 W18 or 24 Ah75 Wp
30 W30 Ah100 Wp
36 W36 Ah125 Wp
40 W42 Ah125 Wp
50 W54 Ah165 Wp
60 W60 Ah165 Wp
Control
MPPT charging with automatic dusk-to-dawn switching; no remote.
Warranty
5-year warranty for the semi-integrated lighting range. The quotation sets out component coverage, exclusions and the claim process.
Pole options
Hot-dip galvanized tubular poles: 6 m; reducing poles: 6–9 m; octagonal poles: 6–12 m.

These are ratings for one luminaire, its battery and solar module, not a complete multi-light pole. Select the pole, bracket and foundation for the site and wind loads. Overnight operation and backup depend on the charging conditions and agreed lighting profile.

BEFORE ORDERING

Confirm the selected model and written scope

Before ordering, ask which documents are available for the selected model. Confirm the equipment schedule, operating-duty assumptions, applicable test references, component and workmanship warranty terms, exclusions and maintenance responsibilities in the quotation.

DATASHEET

All-in-Two (semi-integrated) model schedule

Select an LED power to compare the per-luminaire equipment schedule. Before procurement, confirm the selected model’s datasheet, applicable test reports and written warranty; the planning sheet does not replace those documents.

Per-light equipment ratings. Pole, bracket and foundation are selected for the site and wind loads. Overnight operation depends on charging conditions and the agreed lighting profile. The quotation confirms the final configuration and warranty terms.

  1. The brochure’s 165 lm/W figure is an LED-component claim, not measured whole-fixture output; confirm the selected component and test basis.
  2. Nominal storage = 12.8 V × Ah; usable energy is lower.
  3. Autonomy of 2–3 nights is an energy-budget design target, not a tested runtime.

03 · USEFUL TO KNOW

Solar street lights: frequently asked questions

Where are the LiFePO₄ battery and controller housed?

Both are integrated inside the rear compartment of the LED luminaire. The LEDs occupy the front underside, while the solar panel remains external. They are not separate pole-mounted boxes in this semi-integrated arrangement.

How does it work at night?

The module charges a LiFePO₄ battery during daylight. A controller manages charging and powers the LED luminaire after dusk according to the selected operating profile.

What warranty is available?

HELLOCON offers a 5-year warranty for the semi-integrated lighting range. The selected model’s quotation sets out component coverage, exclusions and the claim process.

Is this an all-in-one light?

All-in-Two (semi-integrated) here means an external solar module with the battery and controller inside the luminaire. All-in-one integrates the panel into the light assembly and needs its own model schedule. External battery-box installation examples are a further arrangement. Confirm the quoted model.

Does it need a grid connection?

No. The light runs on its solar module and the LiFePO₄ battery inside the luminaire, so it does not need a grid connection.

Can it be guaranteed to run all night from wattage alone?

No. Battery energy, charging conditions, operating profile and autonomy must be designed together.

How is pole height selected?

Site geometry, optics, illumination, access and structural design determine the arrangement.

What must a public procurement brief include?

Application, technical specification, operating duty, model documents, warranties and service responsibilities.

What maintenance access is needed?

Agree safe access to the panel, luminaire and pole, and how battery or controller replacements are handled.

Does HELLOCON make its own solar street lights and poles?

Yes. HELLOCON manufactures the semi-integrated solar street lights on this page and hot-dip galvanized poles: tubular 6 m, reducing 6–9 m and octagonal 6–12 m. See solar street light manufacturing.

Can you supply solar street lights in bulk or for a tender?

Yes, through our B2B material supply page. Share the specification, quantities, delivery district and deadline; tender documents and supplier eligibility are confirmed for each requirement.
